PROFILE Elettrogamma has been working in the sector of electrical winding for motors since 1981, the year of its foundation. For the first ten years it specialised in manually produced types of winding. Later, the generalised change in customer and market requirements caused the company to start and develop automatically produced windings. With the onset of market globalisation and the increasingly fierce competition from foreign companies, customers demanded and obtained, in the context of a natural process of transformation, increasingly more rationalised production. Elettrogamma has done its utmost to satisfy the growing requirements of customers and the result of its work is summarised and condensed in the: Service - Quality - Price. The aim was reached by means of a massive medium-term investment programme that, from 1994 to 1998, allowed the company to increase its production staff up to 140 people, both direct and indirect, make use of 4,000 m2 of covered factory area and produce about 1,400,000 windings per year. Store of copper wire belonging to our company In order to satisfy customer requests, all diameters of copper wire are kept in stock. Monthly consumption of copper is around 120,000 Kg. Stator store In order to eliminate the various logistic problems that customers have in managing stators, Elettrogamma keeps a special on-site "store" for each of them. Every month, the various customers are given updated details of the material they have in stock. The average total stock of customer stators amounts to around 500,000 pcs.
